When a match is struck, you make sure that little spark has every chance to grow into a big flame. Not to get too metaphorical, but that’s what Ad2 Cincinnati is all about. We are fanning the flames of great advertising by supporting young professionals in the industry.

Ad 2 members-between the ages of 18 and 32-are passionate about great advertising. The kind of work that people notice and ask who did it. And we want the answer to be “so-and-so from the good old Queen City.”

So what do we do? We do the things that young people do when they get together. Make friends. Chat about work, compare stories. Help each other out in any way that we can. Drink some drinks, maybe take a turn at the karaoke machine.

But we also work to improve professionally. We bring in speakers, not because we like to listen to people talk, but we like to learn about what’s new-and what’s next. Because we already know one thing that’s next-us.

Anyone who’s interested in advertising is welcome. People who create it, produce it, sell it, buy it, sell space for it, see it.

Hands-On Experience
Writing copy. Designing websites. Planning events. Media purchasing. Managing projects. Everything we do, from creating invitations to flyers to websites, gives us an opportunity to improve our skills. No matter what your title is.

Networking with Professionals
You know what you get when a bunch of advertising guys and girls share drinks after work? A network featuring connections with some of the biggest agencies and advertisers in town. And in 25 years, it will be a network featuring the leaders of the industry and pillars of the community.

Educational Programs
Would you expect someone just learning to read to get much out of a college level course? Of course not. And you wouldn’t expect someone just starting in an industry to get much out of seminar designed for Agency presidents. So we bring in speakers from across the country to talk about subjects that will help our membership the most.

Social Events
We’re all here to make friends, and whether it’s checking out a museum exhibit, cheering on XU or UC in the tournament, playing board games in a bar…we have fun. At our happy hours, our gala parties, and even at our meetings.

Community Involvement
In order to further develop our skills-and give back to the community-Ad2 Cincinnati helps a local organization with their marketing efforts. Not just the creative, but planning the campaign’s strategy and taking charge in its
implementation.

The public service campaign really puts the steering wheel in our hands, and in exchange a worthwhile organization gets some amazing advertising.

Every year, Ad 2 Public Service campaigns from across the country are featured in a national competition at the AAF conference, giving us some national exposure.

Leadership Skills
Our members our given the chance to grow as leaders and people by holding positions and taking the entire responsibility for the direction of the club. Positions include President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Historian and committee chairs in charge of Public Service, Membership, Fundraising and Programs.

National Network
Connect with ad people across the country through an extended network of Ad 2 clubs in places like Miami, San Francisco, Seattle, Madison, Tampa Bay and much more.
